Direct Drive is a privately owned transport and chauffeur service company registered and operating in Cape Town, South Africa. We provide airport transfers, point-to-point shuttle services, staff transport, professional chauffeur services, event transport, and private guided tours throughout the Western Cape.

Bookings may be made via our website contact form, by telephone, by email, or via WhatsApp. A booking is only confirmed upon receipt of a written confirmation from Direct Drive.
It is the client's responsibility to verify all booking details (date, time, pick-up address, destination, number of passengers, and flight details where applicable) upon receipt of the booking confirmation. Any errors must be reported to us immediately.
For airport transfers, Direct Drive monitors flight arrival times and adjusts driver dispatch accordingly at no additional cost to the client. We request that clients provide their flight number at the time of booking.
All Direct Drive rates are fixed and agreed upon at the time of booking. No additional charges will be applied unless the client requests changes to the itinerary, adds significant waiting time beyond the agreed allowance, or incurs third-party costs (such as toll fees or parking) not included in the original quote.
Airport pick-ups include a complimentary waiting period of 60 minutes after the confirmed landing time. For all other transfers, a complimentary 15-minute waiting period applies. Waiting time beyond these allowances may be charged at the prevailing hourly rate.
Payment may be made by EFT, cash, or any other method confirmed in writing by Direct Drive. Corporate account clients may be subject to separate payment terms as agreed in their service agreement.
Amendments to bookings must be communicated as early as possible. Direct Drive will make every effort to accommodate changes, subject to vehicle and driver availability. Amendments that result in a higher fare may require payment of the difference.
In the unlikely event that Direct Drive is unable to fulfil a confirmed booking due to circumstances beyond our control (force majeure, vehicle breakdown, etc.), we will provide reasonable advance notice and offer a full refund or alternative arrangements. Direct Drive's liability in such cases is limited to the fare paid.
Passengers are expected to behave in a safe, lawful, and respectful manner towards our drivers and vehicles. Direct Drive reserves the right to terminate a journey without refund if a passenger:
Smoking, vaping, and the consumption of alcohol are not permitted in any Direct Drive vehicle without prior written consent.
Clients are responsible for their own luggage and personal belongings. Direct Drive accepts no liability for loss or damage to luggage or personal items during transit. Any items left in a vehicle will be held for a period of 30 days, after which they may be donated or disposed of. To enquire about lost property, contact us at info@directdrive.co.za.
Direct Drive maintains appropriate vehicle insurance as required by South African law. Our liability to clients is limited to direct losses arising from our proven negligence and shall not, in any circumstances, exceed the value of the fare paid for the journey in question.
Direct Drive accepts no liability for indirect or consequential losses, including but not limited to missed flights, missed connections, missed meetings, or losses arising from delays caused by traffic, weather, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
